Promotion

• Attend the Volunteer Orientation.

• Attend the KOOP and FCC Policy Training Session.

  • RSVP to [email protected].

• Attend the two In-Studio Training sessions.

  • RSVP to [email protected]. 

• Complete your apprenticeship.

  • Minimum of 3 observations on the same show.

  • Minimum of 2 observations on other shows, with at least one (1) on a show of the opposite category.

• Attend at least two elected board/committee meetings.

• Attend at least one station meeting.

• Be in Good Standing (regularly volunteering) for three months.

Then, you can...

• Pass the online Policy Exam with 70% or more.

• Schedule the 30-minute in-person exam by emailing [email protected].

The training sessions are offered at least once per month. Refer to the monthly email from the training team or the Internal Calendar for specific dates and times. Other optional training sessions may be offered periodically. The information here is subject to change - defer to instructions from the Training Team.
